Welcome! Let's start with the presentation of the biggest boy of the Bloodthirsters family: Exalted Greater Daemon of Khorne! Let him put you inside the realm of insanity game ;)
This Forge World mini (sic!) can be successfully used in regular Khorne lists due to three things.
He has BLOODTHIRSTER keyword whitch allows him to be part of Council of Blood battalion (in general: 3 to 8 bloodthirsters; each one, in hero phase, can use his CA without spending CPs; one or more can attack in your hero phase).
He is not unique hero so we can give him an artefact and command trait. Those give us a plenty of possibilities (besides Khorne's artefacts there are a lot of various ones available from 8 realms), where one of my favorites is Immense Power command trait (+1 to damage) and Deathdealer artefact (+1 to damage) which increases his Axe damage characteristc from 3 to 5. If we also have Bloodsecrator (+1 Attack) and Slaughterpriest (+1 to Hit) it give us Exalted Greater Bloodthirster of Khorne with
9 attacks 2+/2+/-2/5 damage each. Nice... ;)
His Command Ability (can't be used for "free" in Council of Blood because it has to be used in Combat phase) allows Khorne units wholly within 18" of him fight in 6" from enemy and add 3" to plie in move...Sounds good, right?
